The first of many anime list! Where we I share my opinion on my favorite anime while sharing them with you gals/guys.
For more than ten years now I have been watching anime. And I have to say… I am a huge fan! I use to think anime was for the goth kids in my high school. My ignorance held me from many years of watching some of the greatest anime/manga stories of all time. I would only watch bits of Dragon Z, Pokemon, Gundam Wing. But many many years later I watched three different anime series and it changed my whole perspective. I wish I had given them a chance sooner. Matter of fact, I believe that giving you suggestions on which anime to watch would help you gain interest too. These are in no particular order.
Just a side note there are not in any in particular order just in case you guys were wondering.
This story enables two eager to learn brothers who find themselves alone with no parents. One killed in slaughter and the other abandonment. They go on a journey to gain something to bring their mother back to life. But alchemy isn't such an easy practice.
This series really scared the living shits out of me. But as the show grew on meI began to understand that there was more to the story than just giant animal like humans the size of buildings with the desired to eat humans.
If you go back and watch this today you will be astounded by what you will come to realize that a scene here basically replicates what happened to George Floyd in the horrid year of 2020. Like the Judicial system they explain the Civil system which like the Judicial system is super flawed, allowing criminals to use acts of violence in a public environment.
This animated series went straight for the jugular! If you ask me! The way they keep the dark mysterious estetic really leaves you on the edge of your seat on how these murders keep happening. The best apart about this beautiful creation is that it is plotted in a time where humans and androids coexist with each other in a domed city.
But this show is sure to heat you up! Son of Satan discovers he is to defeat Satan himself in the near future. In order to do so he must attend academy to understand and control his powers.
From the likes of the name you may have a slight idea what this ones all about. But this anime for many like myself is ICONIC! Following the oh so strange story of high school student Light. Finding a notebook capable of killing people when names are written in it... sounds pretty bad ass to me! Doesn't it?!
Seven Deadly Sins depicted a different type of anime. From Meliodas feeling up on Elizabeths boobs to all the extreme fights the seven warriors had to endure on their journey of vindication.
Death Parade embodies the existence of two humans awaking in a bar like lounge in which they later come to the understanding that their fate is being determined by a game which isn't real. Each and every single one of the people come to memory of their death. A death bring up issues in which lead them there in the first place.
I know what your thinking...Nickelodeon's Avatar the last airbender isn't an anime. Sure it isn't but it is considered an animation, and one that ranks pretty highly on my list (if you ask me).If you haven't seen this one, it's a must watch. The story follows a young man who is has been missing for 100 years only to awaken a war that has claimed the lives of his people and countless others. He is destined to end the war, providing balance & peace to the world.
The Legend of Korra was Nick's return with a new storyline, A new time where the avatars legendary being/spirit would have to once again restore balance to the world of havoc. This time they reach beyond the bar, blowing us away with the freshly gifted female avatar known as Korra who is already a champion at her birth right, but she has much to learn.
Talk about gore! this anime had me on the edge of my seat! A young man is falsely accused of murdering his entire class finds himself in a weird imprisonment. Here he comes to the realization that not only is his life on line but so is clearing his name. Resembling the popular award winning Hunger Games this incarceration may be more of a death trap.
A Netflix Original, it definitely makes a name for itself being set one thousand years after Earth was taken over by a species known as Guana. This show I was actually see at the time now that one the characters had questioned it gender or its gender changed some how and I thought it was cool to understand it from such a different viewpoint now. Watching this one sometime ago I was just confused back then.
