Neflix is changing the world with Meditation & Mental Health Awareness- Here’s how:

Updated: Sep 12, 2022

Netflix is helping to shine a positive light on mental health awareness for everyone. No joke! Kids that may be home at school or an adult taking a breather from not telling your boss off during these crazy times with the pandemic and the inhumane society we are living in we never take the time out of our days to just “do nothing.

Headspace Guide to Meditation is new a must watch, a binge-r, a rewatch docuseries that was released January 1st. But never in such a time do we need it the most. The story of East Asian culture of Mediation told through Former Buddhist Monk Andy Puddicombe and visually created by Devin Clark. Explaining how meditation should be made part of your everyday life. Whether that be working from home away from the virus at the comfort of your own home... or your out there in the for fronts working trying to survive during these difficult times - alll... through your mobile device. Photos belong to Netflix:

Headspace Meditation .A silhouette depiction of a person but yellow in hue. He/She is standing on a lily pad and there is much chaos in his mind and around he/she. But, there is grin of unbothered peace on their face.

We needed this in the word and community as a whole. As a practicer of being a knowledge knight, yogi and artist I find myself getting entrapped in my thoughts with anxiety and depression. But these days the switch has been redirected. I’ve meditated in the past but I’ve never known if I was actually benefiting from it or doing it correctly. After seeing this documentary and little medicated prescribed relief...I found myself understanding what my practices have given me, and for that I am grateful for. Thank you.

Clark is known along with other great creators as a whole for the oh so racey horror/comedy animated series Ugly Americans. Considering this more of a fantasy new york devil science fiction, Headspace seems to be headed in the opposite direction.

All the people at Vox Media Studios, Blink Industries & Augenblick Studios collectively made this project happen I want to say thank you all. Again this could have not come in a better time.

Let’s not forget the lovely executive producers Morgan Selzer, Sam Rogoway, Alex Grigg, Katy Wang and Gabriel de bruin.
