I just recently just took a hibernation if you will from reading for about two months. I started to realize that I have acquired the amount of knowledge and confidence to now share what I know. Me and my partner have been learning to manage, code, market and self maintenance our own websites using Wix. Case in point, I have been a little busy with many other endeavors. Growing up without computers, I would have seen my first glimpse of what the internet had to offer through the AOL demo trial disk around the age of 13!
Back to warming up my brain again from slumber, I found the courage to WANT to learn more about tech. So I would start there, engulfing into my brain the great lessons from Frazer Wilson's "Coding for Parents". Though I wasn't able to finish this very informative read, I was able to grasp many concepts beyond my prior intelligence.
First up, in no particular order is Anthony Robbins aka Tony Robbins "Giant Steps"!
It is in no way shape or form has this books idealism changed in the year 2022! This is a get up off your ass, no excuse but the ones you choose to have type of read. Every morning I wake to read at least five quotes to get the am started alongside break & coffee.
Next wread to check out is called “Crowdfunding Revolution- How to raise venture capital using social media” by Kevin Lawton and Dan Marom. This is a great way to unlock your understanding of the many ways of doing doing business in 2K22. I have a couple of projects within the near future that I may be using amazing platforms like Kickstarter or Indiegogo for funding. Kevin and Dan definitely went into a great depth of what to be on the look out for when funding your projects, products, etc.
This next one is a fossil is far as I am concerned. Meaning it is a buried hidden gem (to me). The 80/20 Manager- The Secret to Working Less and Achieving More" by author Richard Koch. Noticing that I no longer have much time to myself other than working on completing projects that represent my brand. I like many others in the universe have come to some sort of burning out. My belief is we are all so over stimulated by our everyday lives we most times wont allow ourselves time to just be at peace. This read gives you the tools in order to do just that.
Learning a skill, trick, or trade is always a challenge when it comes to learning something new. I am a firm believer in keeping your body in shape, but also applies to the brain. Keeping your brain active and agile is key element to self growth. I thought I would give my brain a nice lift session by challenging myself to learn how to play Mah-jong. Teach Yourself- Play and Win: Mah-Jong is a great way to learn/play with an online community that will not only challenge you in the basics, but teach you also how to master the rules of ancient game known as Mah- Jong.
Like we spoke of earlier… a guy like me, likes to get involved with many different things. Noticing the way others around me would always speak about themselves and the food choices they chose (while complaining about them) was tough to be around.
While most complain about new foods and new techniques, I chose not to. I enjoy food for flavor, for the nourishmeant it gives me to awake in greatness everyday. For the past 3 years I questioned my eating habits( in meat consumption)... so we decided to slow down with the meat eating. Don’t get me wrong i still eat hot dogs and all the meats, but we have definitely lowered our intake. I feel that we as humans have evolved and we should be more aware of the violence and behaviors we cast on the planet. I also always wanted to gain the information to start growing our own fruits & veg. I love fruits and vegetables. Picking up "Beginner Gardening Step By Step by DK. From pruning practicalities to knowing your soil, this book has all their is to know about gardening.
Last, but not least is Pinterest Marketing for Dummies. Although this read was a bit older I have to say it is a honor understanding how far Pinterest has come. The same facts remain true- Pinterest pins create communities.
